SPEAKER
& TEACHER: In full-time ministry since 1972, Michael
has ministered in churches, Bible schools, pastors' luncheons, and
in evangelistic campaigns. His travels have taken him throughout the
U.S., Europe, the West Indies, Nigeria, and El Salvador. He is also
a frequent interview guest on radio and television, including many
appearances on the Trinity Broadcasting Network. He has
authored several books.
CONSULTANT / PROMOTER: Michael is also well known as a public
relations and promotional expert. In that capacity, he has organized
city-wide evangelistic campaigns in major cities across the U.S.,
and national crusades throughout the West Indies and in Nigeria. Some
of the venues include Madison Square Garden in New York; the Shrine
Auditorium in Los Angeles; the national soccer stadium in Port-Au-Prince
Haiti; and Tafawa Balewa Square, the national stadium in Lagos, Nigeria.
Michael also organized a three-week evangelistic tent rally on the
grounds of the Washington Monument in Washington, DC. He and
his artist wife, debi, along with their musician son, Jesse, and his
wife, Carla, have also organized major music and art festivals.
COUNSELOR:
Dr. Maddox has received national recognition, from both church
and secular authorities, for his work as a counselor. Marital
issues, substance abuse, sexual addictions, at-risk youth, and providing
guidance to artists are some of his areas of expertise. He hosted
a one-hour, live weekly radio program, "Peace on Earth,"
on KGFT, 100.7 FM, in Colorado Springs. "Simply...by Faith,"
a 30-minute television special focusing on his counseling ministry,
has been broadcast in major cities, including broadcasts on the Trinity
Broadcasting Network. The counseling work has been featured not only
in many newspaper stories, but also in "Christian Family Magazine."
